'Stros 3, Cubs 1

That's the way to two-hit 'em! Nice touch that the Cubs' last chance hung on former Astro Moises Alou, who has (had!) a .500 average against Wagner. Wags got him to strike out swinging.

Stage 19 of the Tour de France this morning was another enjoyable spectacle. When Armstrong mentions that his troubles are some things we know and some we don't, I wonder if he's talking about his separation from Kristin and their efforts to reconcile. Or maybe it's an injury that's been kept under wraps. Coming through to five-peat is incredible under any circumstances. He looks drained and ready to get the hell out of there, that's for sure. I can't imagine the stress that he's lived with.

And as much as I hate to admit it, those NFC promos that Fox is running are foonay.

Now. Go BoSox!
